INSILC Public Meeting Information

INSILC hosts public meetings to ensure transparency, gather input, and support shared decision-making about programs, policies, and statewide priorities affecting people with disabilities. These meetings are open to the public and provide opportunities to stay informed, ask questions, and offer comments that help guide our work.

INSILC holds three types of public meetings throughout the year. Each serves a different purpose, but all are open to the public and include time for public comment.

• Full Council Meetings (Quarterly, Hybrid)
  These meetings bring together the full Council to discuss the overall operations and activities of INSILC. The Council reviews reports, considers proposals, and votes on key decisions that shape the organization’s work.
• SPIL Committee Meetings (Quarterly, Virtual)
  The SPIL (State Plan for Independent Living) Committee focuses on the development and implementation of the State Plan. The Committee reviews progress, discusses priorities, and makes recommendations based on public input and statewide needs.
• Engagement Committee Meetings (Every Other Month, Virtual)
  This Committee focuses on outreach, communications, and engagement efforts. Meetings include updates on outreach activities and opportunities to share ideas about how INSILC connects with the disability community across Indiana.
